October Report
tI was good to see Pearl back with us at the Annual meeting. After our Wi ordinary business, Nina shared the Financial report for the year and Diana read Lyn's Secretary's report and we realised all the activities that had taken place in the last year.  We welcomed Karen and Jo who counted the votes to select a new President. Janet Patch was elected by a large majority and we wish her good luck in the post.
Frances thanked Rosemary and the outgoing Committee for their work in the past year.
There were  a number of colourful entries on our Monthly Competition, which in  October  was ' Your Favourite Autumnal item ' ( See left for a photo of the Display)
After the refreshment break Pamela gave a talk about her experiences as a Nursing and care Home Inspector. She came from a nursing background but her role in Berkshire was to ensure Fire regulations and management was up to scratch.
